Shiso
Shiso is a potent, aromatic and biologically active herb that is an increasingly popular spice of the mint family. It has bright green serrated leaves that are round in shape and are an important part of Japanese and Korean Cuisine.
The leaves, seeds and stems are traditionally used as medicine to alleviate nausea and vomiting symptoms, treat abdominal cramps, food poisoning and infections and relieve coughing, headaches and allergic reactions.

Antioxidants are known to help prevent chronic disease and delay aging, thus also promoting longevity

The same organic compounds that give Shiso it's aromatic flavor and spice are known to carry wonderful antibacterial and antiviral properties. In traditional Chinese medicine, shiso was used to treat persistent cough and stuffy nose symptoms. Today it is also known to be used for colds, flue and other respiratory tract infections.
Allergy Reduction
Known to reduce the severity of allergic reactions and asthma.
